Comprehensive psychiatric, psychological and counseling services are offered to individuals and families.

Services include, but are not limited to:

Psychiatric Evaluations: Clinical interview and psychiatric scales. Diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Psychosis and other psychiatric disorders.

Psychological Testing: Medication Management, Learning Disorders, ADHD, and other disorders (all testing may not be covered by insurance. Fee for service arrangements can be made).

Counseling Services: Individual therapy for all ages; family counseling; couples counseling; play therapy. (*Currently, forms of therapy are not available due to a changeover in staff, but will be available in the upcoming weeks.)

SBHC Groups: Each group will run for seven weeks with 50 minute sessions. (Sign-up at the front desk; group schedule subject to therapist discretion).

Common Sense Parenting (Boys Town Model)

  • This group focuses on improving the relationship between the parent/caregiver and child, as well as, managing the child's behavior. Through videos, roleplaying, discussions, readings, and worksheets participants will acquire the skills to set reasonable expectations, use postive and negative consequences, use effective praise, preventative and corrective teaching, etc.

Anger Management/Conflict Resolution        

  • This group focuses on identifying and expressing feelings, learning and using postive coping skills. Skills taught are relaxation techniques, breathing, imagery, self time-outs, and use of "I" statements.

Social Skills                                           

  • Through the use of role-play, discussion, planned activities, youth will learn to use basic social skills (i.e. talking to others, disagreeing appropriately, following directives, accepting "no" answers, etc.).
