Ahmad M. Almai, MD

Dr. Almai completed his residency training and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Yale, where he remains on staff as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine. Dr. Almai specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with psychiatric and behavioral diagnosis. 

Dr. Almai also has additional training in research, with a particular focus on anxiety disorders and has authored and co-authored several articles for medical journals and related publications. Dr. Almai is board certified in general psychiatry and children and adolescent psychiatry.  

Dr. Almai remains active in the Medical Community where he often appears as a guest speaker at hospitals around the State of Connecticut, providing continuing education to medical staff. 

June Feola, APRN

June Feola, APRN, has been providing psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy to children and adolescents since 1995. June received her Masters in Child and Family Mental Health Nursing and is credentialed by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Association. Working as a psychotherapist with prescriptive rights, June has a unique role as a therapist. June can provide comprehensive mental health care that includes a diagnostic assessment, therapy and pharmacological treatment.

Kathleen Leon, LMFT

Kathleen Leon is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, experienced in the treatment of couples, families and individuals with focus on adolescents. Mrs. Leon received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family therapy from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT and is a clinical member of American Association for Marriage and Family therapy. Mrs. Leon addresses families, couples and individuals from a cognitive behavioral approach to promote understanding of, and change within, their systems.

Jenifer Arsenault, MSW, LCSW

Jenifer Arsenault is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been providing therapy since 1995. She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Rhode Island and went on to earn her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. Jenifer was licensed as a clinical social worker by the state of CT in 2000. She specializes in working with children and families, providing individual, group, family therapy and parenting skills workshops. 

Jessica Wolf, MSW, LCSW

Jessica Wolf is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and has been providing counseling to children, adolescents and their families since 1995. Jessica received her Masters in Social Work in 1997 and was licensed as social worker by state of CT in 2000. Jessica has worked with this population in varying capacities including: Intensive outpatient programs, partial care programs, emergency room, outpatient and school based settings. She has treated clients with mental health and substance abuse issues.

Debra DiVenere, APRN

Debra DiVenere is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who received her Master's of Science in Nursing from Yale University School of Nursing. She has over 25 years experience as a Pediatric Registered Nurse and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Debra has developed a special interest in Pediatric Psychiatry and has expertise in areas of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, School Problems, ADHD, ADD, Mood Disorders, and Behavior Problems. Through prescriptive privilges and guidance, Debra sets the goal of assisting children to achieve their full potential while helping the family adapt in a positive manner.

Deborah Dembo, APRN

Deborah Dembo, APRN completed her nurse practitioner education at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. While at Stanford, Deb spent eight years working with eating disorder patients at Stanford Children's Hospital. In addition, her experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults on in-patient psychiatric units, teaching RN students, and working in a college health center. Since returning to CT in 2004, Deb's focus has been psychiatric consultation in group homes and long-term care settings. Deb's area of interest is medication management in all age groups.

Barry M. Rosenkranz, M.D.

Dr. Barry Rosenkranz is a Board Certified Psychiatrist in general psychiatry with extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of adults and adolescents. He completed his residency training at the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT and completed advanced training in Family therapy in New York City with Dr. Salvador Minuchin. He has lectured and supervised residents in family therapy at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, as well as The Institue of Living. Dr. Rosenkranz also has interests in evaluation and management of mood disorders, eating disorders, and compulsive disorder, as well as substance abuse.
